Application

This cable allows you to connect your round 8 or 9 pin ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) to older 6 pin J1708 round diagnostic ports in medium and heavy duty vehicles model years from the early-to-mid-2000s.

The 6 pin J1708 female socket with locking ring plugs to the factory 6-Pin diagnostic diagnostic port. The other end, 9-Pin J1939 male receptacle then accepts 8 or 9 pin ELDs.
